NODUS COMPUTE · DEVELOPER DOCUMENTATION

Intelligence, now callable.

Four models. Zero weights. One HTTP request between you and a statistically defensible guess.

Base URL https://chance.nodus-compute.ai. The API samples on the server using cryptographic randomness and rejection sampling. The visual models on the home page continue to run locally in your browser.

Public API. No sign-in, API key, or training budget required.

YOUR FIRST INFERENCE
curl https://chance.nodus-compute.ai/api/v1/infer \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"model":"coin"}'

Probability describes the outcome distribution. It is not prediction accuracy.

01 / DISCOVERY

Meet the models.

GET /api/v1/models returns the model catalog and wheel limits.

Model IDOutputProbability
coin"heads" or "tails"1/2
diceInteger 1–61/6
deckRank + suit, e.g. "3♥"1/52
wheelSector number, starting at 11/sectors

Deck ranks are A, 2–10, J, Q, K. Suits are ♠, ♥, ♦, ♣. Every draw is independent and with replacement, including deck draws.

02 / INFERENCE

Leave it to chance.

POST /api/v1/infer accepts JSON:

FieldTypeBehavior
modelstringRequired. One of the four model IDs.
countinteger1–100 independent draws. Default: 1.
sectorsintegerWheel only. 2–24 sectors. Default: 6.

Bodies are limited to 4,096 bytes. Unknown fields are rejected. Responses are not cached. Browser callers are supported through CORS.

EXAMPLE RESPONSE
{
  "id": "a unique request UUID",
  "model": "coin",
  "distribution": "uniform",
  "outcome_count": 2,
  "entropy_bits": 1,
  "count": 1,
  "results": [{ "value": "heads", "probability": 0.5 }]
}

entropy_bits is log₂ of the number of outcomes. probability is a number between 0 and 1. Each request gets a fresh UUID.

JavaScript example
const response = await fetch(
  'https://chance.nodus-compute.ai/api/v1/infer', {
    method: 'POST',
    headers: { 'Content-Type': 'application/json' },
    body: JSON.stringify({ model: 'wheel', sectors: 8, count: 3 })
  }
);
const data = await response.json();
if (!response.ok) throw new Error(data.error.message);
console.log(data.results);

Errors

Errors use {"error":{"code":"…","message":"…"}}.

400Invalid JSON, model, count, sectors, or unknown field.
404Unknown API route.
405Unsupported method; check the Allow header.
413Request body exceeds 4,096 bytes.
415Content-Type must be application/json.

03 / LIVE REQUEST
